Merry Christmas!

Hello son,
Merry Christmas Friday! So excited to talk to you and hear your voice. Hang out has worked great so hopefully it will again. How has the week been? How did transfers go? Did you stay or go? Where is your new comp from and are things ok? That's nuts that many are going home. Sorry he relapsed, I hope he can get on the right track and rid himself of that temptation, it ruins lives! We ended up giving the tabernacle choir tickets to gma and gpa Jensen so we could support the Brewers. It was a beautiful reception and it was great to see so many wonderful friends and catch up with everyone. Everyone sends their love and send you their best! Sent you pics of some of the peeps we saw there. So what plans do you have for Christmas? I hope you get your package. It will be a strange Christmas for dad and I cause the girls and their fams will be with the in laws and you still gone( last one yay). We might not even sleep at jensens depending on what dotys do, crazy right. We will still do Christmas Eve at their house though. We are doing our own family party tomorrow. It finally snowed here and kind of came all at once. Dad and I snow blowed twice a day three days last week. Crazy week this week with weather too, I think it is supposed to snow at least 4 days this week. We get to go to our home ward for the next two weeks because the stake will take over cause so many kids go home for the holidays. Excited to be at the home ward and meet all the new families that have moved in. I hope you are hanging in there and doing wonderful! Can we send you anything or help in any way? Love you so much! Thankful for your choices and example.

Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! We sure love you, stay safe and happy! Have a great weekFace throwing a kissBlack heart (cards)️Face throwing a kissBlack heart (cards)️ love you much, mom

Hey bro
It's been a great week here at home, I'm good and sore from a solid snowmobile ride we went in Thursday. It was in the top 5 deepest snow days ever (5 ft bottomless to the sage brush) we had a few folks get stuck.. There were nine of us...
Monday was the day it dumped snow, for FHE we were going to go caroling, but too much snow, so mom and I blew and shoveled our streets driveways and sidewalks, the blower is amazingly still going strong. Tuesday and Wednesday I was responsible for the Sunroc area christmas party, we rented out a theater both nights for the 220+ employees and spouses/dates. We split it over two nights so we accommodated people's schedules, they could choose which night they wanted to attend. Tuesday was hunger games, Wednesday was the new mobey dick movie, good experience overall.
Thursday was the epic snowmobile day up to fairview, lots of new snow made for a pretty good day πŸ˜€ That night mom and me went to the Colby and Sara reception, they both said hi, we'll send pics of them and a few others we ran into there. Friday we had Jensen over why the kids had a work party, Saturday we went shopping all day! Crazy long day! But the cool thing is we got mom a new iPhone 6S plus. The Utes played 7th ranked Duke in BBall and Won, Saturday was also the Vegas bowl where BYU and Utah played football, Utes went up 35-0 in the first quarter, then it got interesting as BYU climbed back all game, fortunately we stayed ahead and were victorious 35-28. It's weird that we have a vacation from church, but our YSA wards are meeting as a stake and we were asked to attend our home wards so that's what we will be doing on Sunday. That night we will have all the kids over for an early christmas dinner and open presents since they will be out with their other families on Christmas.
We sure are excited to talk with you later this week. I'm guessing google hangout still works well for us all. Let us know an approximate time etc..
I hope things went well with the transfers, Thanks for being such a great example for us all.
Love you bro
Dad

here is my past week! What a great week! this week has been very exciting! The beggining of the week was full of awesome times with the ward and investigators, we found out tuesday that I would be moving, and then we got to eat with a couple of our RC's and members for the last time, we also got to have an awesome English party, our party helped me realize how powerful Christmas music is, it seemed like the last couple parties were just activities and they went ok, but then this one we did little Christmas activities and then we figured out how to play music over the sound system in the gym of the Church and it changed the whole Spirit of the Activity and everyone absolutely loved the party! such a miracle! Then transfers happened, and I could not be more thankful for the opportunity to come to Song Shan with Elder Liston, we will be working our hardest to help the East Zone and Songshan grow and be as incredible as we know it can be! we are so excited to get going! this past weekend we got to make a lot of phone calls to our investigators and LAs, we also got to get to know quite a few members at a ward party and church, we are happy to start to understand their goals! this is going to be such a blast! this past week we also got to go to some choir performances, once again, music bringing the Spirit in full force! I am excited that Taoyuan will be in such great hands with Elder Larsen and Elder Heaps! such a good week! so happy, soooooo happy! love you much! talk to you this week!

Hello bud,
Sounds like last week was a good one, hope this week has been the same. That's fun you got to help decorate a tree, sorry we sent some Christmas decorations in your box but you won't get to put them up if you don't get your package before Christmas. Really glad people told you happy birthday and sang to you. That's weird/ funny about the lady comment, I hope they were kidding. Yes the kiddos are changing but you will still get to love them while they are young. Trust me the three older ones know who you are and talk about you all the time. If you ask them where Caden is they saying, on a mission in Taiwan, it's so cute how they say it. The other two are still young enough that they will get to know you easily. Just got Colby brewers and Sara's announcement in the mail. It's this week but we can't go because we have tickets to the tabernacle choir Christmas program, so we will run a gift by and wish them well. This week is a crazy one, lots going on. I hope things go well with the transfer and you have a great comp. I hope if you get transferred you are where it is safe. Awesome to hear that you were able to have referrals and help other companionships. Also glad one came back your way! Do you get to watch the Mormon movies very often? I'm so thankful that they are taking care of you and your cake even if it is in a 7-11. Sounds like that interview was quite the experience. Glad that you could help that man find peace and love with the hand of The Lord! We love your experiences and are so glad that you share and we can see some of how you are making a difference and we can follow your example at home by making a differnce and helping others. We sure love you son !!! Thank you for making the gospel a priority and sharing it with others. It's in your smile, your heart, your head and here in your family! Thank you for that. Have a fabulous new week, let us know how transfers go.
Let us know about when to expect your call home. Should we plan on using google hangout like we have before?

Hi Caden
Hope you had a great week, we had a nice one getting ready for the holidays. Monday for FHE we had a white elephant gift exchange like we do on Christmas Eve. Good times. Tuesday evening we had two of our YSA ward members get married to each other, Rick married them, they will get married in the temple in a year. Wednesday we chilled at home, watched a little TV (survivor) Thursday l I went to a funeral viewing of one of the Sunroc Springville store managers mother, When I got there I found out it was Bridger Tews grandma, (small world) good to meet up with bridgers folks, they showed me a video of Bridger and pope together on their missions in Italy. Sounded and looked like they are being good solid missionaries. After the viewing mom and I went to Sakura for some sushi Smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes
Friday we went to dinner with all the kids to chilies. Fun to spend time all together-we talked about you quite a bit, discussing how next year will be so cool and different for us all when you are home. Saturday dad, Dave, Andy, (Dave friend) and I went sledding up to the cabin, we are still way short on snow so it was pretty much a road ride again, but still good to get out. I'm starting to get used to the rupp. I think we told you Dad ordered a Polaris ranger with tracks from coxes in Fairview, we stopped in and took a picture of it, they are still working on it, we can pick it up next week. I think this new machine will be a game changer for the grandparents, I'll keep you informed and send pics. Sunday I conduct in the YSA ward, it's our Christmas program, I'm pretty excited cause we have some very musically talented ward members.
Hey I wanted to send you props for being so awesome with the emails, we hear from so many people about how cool they think you are because you respond with personal email messages. I don't know how you do it, it's got to be hard, you gotta know that it does not go unnoticed. Your ability to keep it real and remember "the one" is something that defines you, I know people love and respect you because of it. Thanks for setting such a great example!
We love ya bro, and are excited to have you back this summer!
Have a great transfer week!
Love Dad

I will talk to you about the call next week! transfers will be nuts! there are like 36 going home! and yeah we will just use google hangout! that works great! and of course I will smile! I like that quote! love ya momma!

pops! first off thank you two for loving each other, having two parents is such a blessing! solid! our ward is doing a gift exchange next week it is going to be super fun! that is cool about those YSA kids! that is super sick! I love the Tew's, glad Bridger is doing well! and I love Pope too! sushi!!! fun time at chilis! sounds like a good weekend, I am trying to remember who Andy is, wait how is Mac? and Rachel did any of them get married? that ranger looks super sick! that is awesome pumped to hear about the music program! glad you like the rupp! I hope I get to ride it once haha! that is cool, I just have like the week thing that  I send but I figure if people take the time to email me, common courtesy is just to email back right?! but you need to apologize to traer cause I have stunk at writing! and thank him for that! love ya pops! this week will be nuts! have a great week! talk to you next week!

here was my week by the way! This week has been awesome!!! We had a good balance of everything going on this past week! but we got to see the Lord's work done a lot in the lives of teenagers, we had three teenagers set dates with us this past week, all which had a specific need, one of them was on thursday, we talked to her and asked what we could pray for her for, she said she didn't know, so we started trying to ask inspired questions, then we asked, well how is your family doing lately, "not good" she said, then we got to pray for her family and it helped her really understand how the gospel can help her, such a cool miracle!!! This week we helped pass a lot of people off on Phase One (language testing) which was very fun, it is great to see people improve their Chinese so much, and it helped us see lots of miracles through traveling and the little times that we could find, it seemed like every time we found, even if it was just for a short little time, the Lord had someone we were supposed to find that we could only find in that short little time! Sunday was just a cherry on top, we had two RC families feed us and they fed us soooooo well, then in our finding time we got to find three awesome people that set up for this next week! We are very excited to see what happens this next week, and we are ready for whatever the Lord needs us to do! love ya both thank you for all you do! have a great week! praying for yall!

Dear Caden,
Hope your birthday was wonderful! Did you do anything special for it? How was the birthday week? Disney was fun but way crowded. Next year hopefully we all go. Sorry you won't get your bday stuff til Christmas. Do you have transfers this week? If so would you be ok with leaving the area? Hope whether you stay or go everything is good! So your weather is cooling down, good right, but hopefully not too cold. Pretty cool you got to have Elder Stevenson come and visit. Sounds like he gave a great talk and instruction. So cute little niece right. Jensen loves her so much it's fun to watch him hug and hold her. We had him for a night and a few days then he went up to Daves folks for a few days til kt and the baby came home. They are all doing great. Mitchell's are doing great as well. The girls are growing up so fast and love Linc, it's like he has three moms. Linc is a chub, two months and already 14lbs. He looks like he is 5 months. Today we are driving home just getting ready to go. Sure love you bud and hope all is well. Keep up the great work and enjoy these experiences. Even though they don't celebrate Christmas enjoy your holiday season. We are always thinking of you and praying for you and the work you are doing. " I don't know much, but three things I do. There is a god, his work is true, stay close to him, he'll see you through." Love you son, once again hope you enjoyed your birthday! Have a stellar week and a safe one! Hello bro
Hope you had a great birthday week, we missed you during our busy week. As you know we stayed pretty busy. Family night at our house was with 25 YSA members, we played the Christmas Bells like we do on Christmas Eve and are treats. Tuesday katie delivered Leah around 7:30 AM, pics should be in your email, she is perfect, looks like jensen. We had jensen spend Tuesday and Wednesday with us, he's a good kid. Wednesday we drove down to Disney in the folks excursion with mom dad Ashley and josh. Made pretty good time. Thursday we did California Adventure all day, Friday was Disneyland all day. Saturday we did both parks along with a billion other people - way crowded! The weather was in the low 80's, everyone seemed to be in Disney this week, No major new rides or anything special, there are a few new frozen attractions that are fun to watch. Sunday we dead head it back, hopefully in time to visit with the grand kids. This Christmas season is going to be a great time for us to reflect on all we are thankful for, we are blessed to have such a wonderful active family. The message you share is what it is all about! Thanks for being willing to give up this time to serve! Love you bro

birthday was great! we went and ate some Thai food and lots of people told me happy b day it was great and super awkward at lunch my companion and two other elders sang to me, and the owner of the restaurant said "come back tonight, and we will have a lady for you." we are pretty sure she was being sarcastic haha! really super crowded that is weird! that would be fun, first one back everyone goes!!! so fun! and that is fine, Christmas is coming up! transfers are next week! I am most likely gonna leave because I have been here about 6 months and I have been with Elder Larsen for two transfers so it is super small chance that I stay! but it would be great! no matter what it will be great! such a cute baby! super good to see all the kids growing up, it is cool to see weekly differences! they celebrate Christmas a little they just dont know why haha! it was a great week love ya momma! great quote! love ya much!

pops! great week! bells that is super fun! holy cow it was crazy warm! hope the drive wasnt to bad! sounds like a fun and packed week that kept ya busy! hope it was great! haha I am hai hao! but thank you for all you have done to raise me! haha love you all very much! here was this past week! This week started out great with decorating a Christmas tree and eating lunch with our district and our bishop! Then on Tuesday we had a great exchange with the Assistants! me and Elder Johnson got to go finding and we saw a ton of miracles through 15 minute lessons, full of power and not to long it was awesome! we found a ton of people that lived out of our area this week, but it was awesome to send referrals and to hear how big of miracles those people were to other companionships, then at the end of the week, we got one of those referrals in return, it was a family of four, we called and they were super happy and are willing to set up! This weeks english class was also awesome, we worked on their listening ability, and we got to watch 4 "I'm a Mormon" videos and then discuss the things that the people liked to do, and the gospel principles that they talked about! it was great! the Spirit was there throughout all the class, and we had a student commit to meet with us this next week! On Thursday we had things that just made me get all emotional, it was my birthday, and right before we had to go home we had an RC family and an RC Sister call us and say, go to the seven just down the street, we walked down there and they had a cake for us and drinks, and they sang, and it just felt so cool to be so close with people all because of the gospel, the Spirit of love was super strong in that 7/11! This week closed up with a super good interview, the Tao 4 Elders have an investigator who has been working through a pornography problem, the Spirit just kinda talked through me that whole interview, through very bold comments, a strong prayer in the interview by that man, specific invites, promised blessings, and a priesthood blessing the Spirit turned a man who felt hopelessly entangled in an addiction to a man with a desire and a hope that he can overcome it with the Lord! such an incredible experience! thank you for letting me share my experiences with you every week, gives me a good time to reflect! love you all talk to you next week, keep those kids cute and happy, but also disciplined haha! love you! remember who is in charge:)

Hi Bro
We had a wonderful thanksgiving recess this week, I hope you had a good week! On Monday we had FHE where we discussed things we were thankful for and made thankful turkeys out of paper. Tuesday we did our pre thanksgiving Christmas shopping, dropped a grand at Costco, but pretty much got most the shopping done at once, I need to pick mom up a few things and she has a few odds and ends she's working on.. Wednesday we drove up to university of Utah hospital to visit one of my employees who's wife delivered their baby 2 1/2 months early.. The baby weighed 1 lb 12 oz and has a few complications, we felt they could use some support. Later that night we made thanksgiving pies. Thanksgiving day was chill, we worked around the house, I loaded sleds and worked on the trailer, it needed the lights fixed and a few things. We had thanksgiving dinner at Jensen's with the usual 3rd Sunday crowd. Then visited with the Rodens that evening. After that Mom and I came home and watched the Jurassic World movie, made me dream of dinosaurs. Black Friday mom did the shopping thing, grandpa J and I went up to the cabin, we rode a little bit and put a few Christmas lights and decorations up. That night we went to hogi yogi with my folks. We went up to fairview again Saturday, Dave Morrey went with us this time, we rode a bit more, still not much snow, I'll send pics. Notice the jacket I'm wearing (matches the sled) sorry I won't wear it anymore. Later Saturday mom and I went out to zuppas and then watched an Avenger movie. Sunday is pretty chill, not much going down, probably visit the folks and stuff. Crazy that Katie is having our 5th grandchild Tuesday! Can't wait for that.
This is your birthday week, which means here at home we have the Disneyland tradition, we head out Wednesday afternoon, we are driving the folks excursion with Ashly, Josh and my folks, Dotys are flying down that night. Thanksgiving was a good time to reflect on our blessings. We sure are thankful for family! It's where true joy is found. I miss you bro, but time is flying, soon we will be fishing at the gorge and climbing and riding in Moab. I hope you have a great 20th birthday! We will celebrate in Disneyland for you! Thanks for your willingness to give up time in your life to serve!
Love you
Dad

Hello son,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!Party popperBalloonBirthday cake I hope Thursday is a fabulous, wonderful, fantastic day and that someone will spoil you and feed you for your birthday since we can't do that. I can't believe you are going to be 20, that's nuts. We will miss you but this is the last one away, yay! Hope you have extra miracles that day for your birthday present. How was your week?  How has the weather been? Your package is on it's way, it has stuff from jensens, Roden's, and Lori cause one of them has you for Christmas. Let us know when you get it please? So when do you think you will hear on when you will call on Christmas, do you want just the family and grandparents? Excited for sister Morrey to get here, we have jens Tuesday to Wednesday then Dave's mom is coming down to help with him cause kt is in the hospital until Thursday. Disneyland will be strange just having dad and I for the Christmas trip from our fam. Next year will be everyone and that will be lost of fun. Crazy to think Christmas is just a few weeks away! Do you have transfers or a temple trip coming up anytime soon. Black Friday wasn't bad I think we only stood in one line, it wasn't crowded at all. I think it's cause they have a lot of good deals on line now. Shopping online is how kt and kar have done almost all of their shopping. Do you need anything from the states, tooth paste, deodorant, vitamins, or anything else? How has the health been, I hope great! When we send your valentine/easter package anything you would like us to send that you could pass out to the kids or use as a teaching tool. Stay happy and safe and know that we are thinking of you and praying for you! We are so grateful and blessed to have our family, and the blessing which we have. Family and the gospel is where it's at!!! Have a terrific and wonderful week and let us know if we can do anything. Once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY and we love you so much and are proud of all the great things you are doing and for being youFace throwing a kissHeavy black heart️Thumbs up sign! momma! the birthday will be a blast! this week was great!  the weather is finally colder!!!! :) I will not get the package till Christmas because they are holding them all till then haha! we will have to see because I may move areas before then, so after the 18th I will know! and anyone can come up to you! that will be a super fun trip though, hope sister morrey is doing good! wow black friday is getting lame?! lame! we have a costco and a french store here so we are good on foreign stuff haha! thank you though! everything is good here! and actually you could send a pic of our Christmas decorations, everyone would love that haha! thank you so much for all you do! stay happy and safe and smiling! love ya! here was my week! What a great week to report on this week! It started out excellently with Elder Stevenson visiting the mission! I really liked the formula he gave us obedience brings blessings, which bring happiness! I also really enjoyed how he talked about when we extend commitments, we must do so in a way that makes them want to keep the commitment! we need to promise blessings! I really liked that! There was such power in seeing and shaking the hand of an Apostle of the Lord, definite testimony builder! We then had two great exchanges full of finding and with finding comes miracles, me and Elder Smith got the opportunity to find a kid who hadn't been to his church for awhile so we got to pray with him, as we closed the prayer he said "wow! that feels good, it has been way to long!" it was awesome! Then Friday's MLC was great! we are very excited for the mission focus on being faithful and on power full lessons, and follow up! this is going to be a great month! Saturday was also a super miracle filled day! in the afternoon we called up two members to go out finding with us, and they were a little awkward at first, but then they got into it and we saw miracles! majority of the people we had lessons with set up another time to meet! members are so helpful!!!! Lastly we had an incredible Sunday this past week, we were able to set up five different RC's and have a lady who we randomly called say that she could come to the church and meet with us! this week truly was great! there was such a positive vibe to it! we are very excited for the miracles this upcoming week has to offer! super fun! love you all talk to you next week!

Hi Son
Went sledding Wednesday, Not much coverage hopefully the storms that are  coming this  week will help. We have our Black Friday event to plan. It's been a good week. Monday for FHE they had a choir concert, we did a little chic fila, it snowed Monday and Tuesday not much in the valley.. Tuesday I picked up the Rupp, I think you remember it, Dustin's custom sled, it has the rider forward feel that I need to get used to. Wednesday after sledding I went back to work and then that night we hung at Costco. Thursday we put the Rodens Christmas  lights up. Friday was our YSA ward temple night. Saturday we cleaned the church, raked leaves, moved tomcars around and had a neighborhood  party at Moss's. Sunday is chill, I conduct in the YSA ward so I won't  be able to hear mom talk in our home ward, I'm sure she nails it! I like that she is mentioning the part you suggested about service bringing us closer to God and making us better people! It's so evident that when we help others we are really helping the world be a better place! I'm glad that you have enjoyed working hard and serving others. Thanks, you have improved our whole family's outlook on life and eternities. The next couple weeks should be exciting here at home with thanksgiving and the Morrey's baby girl and then Disneyland
Love ya bro hope you have a great week :)

Hello son, well by the time you read this I will have reported on you and your mission. I thought it wasn't until next week but I was wrong, good thing I checked or they would have been one speaker shy. I get to speak with sister Wood and sister Crogan. I think becca only has a few weeks left, crazy! Been a good week hope yours was the same. Kt hasn't had her yet, it is in about a little over a week. Everyone is doing great, kar has to go back to work, she's a little sad but knows that it's not forever. Hard to believe thanksgiving is Thursday, happy thanksgiving, hope life it treating you wellThumbs up signSmiling face with open mouth! Much to be thankful for! Are you eating at a members house or at the mission home? Will it be an American thanksgiving feast, turkey and the works? We will be sending your bday/Christmas package this week most likely. You might get it a little after your bday, hope that's ok. It was fun reading through all of your old emails to prepare for this report, to see you grow and to see your love of the gospel and for others grow as well. It was nice to get to do a bit of service and help out that ward member, hopefully he can rent it out and have an income. I like what you said about service, that is what I am focusing my report on. Service is a great thing and one we have learned and appreciated more everyday since you left on your mission. It makes the world such a better place when we focus on the service of others and not ourselves. Sounds like it was a great and wonderful week. We had our neighborhood Christmas party last night at the moss home, it was a great time. We volunteered to help with it next year. It was nice to have it early cause dec is so crazy. We got to visit a lot with the snyders and we talked about your lunch with her sister, it was wonderful. It was nice to catch up with the neighbors since we don't see them very often anymore at church. hey at least you got out though! hopefully black friday turns out well! how was the choir concert? thank you for sending me all those events by the way I has a ysa leader ask me for some ideas! so you went with the rupp and of course I remember the rupp, with the funky handlebar arrangement! hey we are going to costco today!!! haha! way to serve gma and gpa haha! temple!!! fun! mom will rock it! sure she did! oh man! let the parties begin!!! who all is going to disneyland this year?! sounds fun! love you all have a great week pops!

sorry that is was this week! but I bet you did great! becca has four weeks left haha! all of the sisters that I went into the MTC with are going home soon too, so it is super weird!!! they are having her 12/2 right?! hope work is ok for Kar! happy thanksgiving! we are gonna eat well this next two weeks! thanksgiving and then I think we are gonna eat Thai food for my bday haha! we will probably buy some pizza for thanksgiving because no one really celebrates it here, but the day after we get to go to taibei so I bet we will eat some of their leftovers:) That it totally ok with the package! thank you very much love ya! I hope that I have grown it sure feels like it! I am almost 20 I am still freaking out about that! hah! service is the best! haha her sister is nice,  it was super fun! you can thank her for that! :) thanks! I bet that party was fun! that is nuts! time flies! anyway! have a great week and I will too, the Lord makes every week great out here! I love that quote! love you all have a great week!

here was this week! we had a great week from the beginning! last monday night we had a Filipino man self contact us and say "well I have been wondering about the Mormons so I figured now might be a good time to ask!" he then was willing to meet another day! Then on Tuesday we got to go on exchanges, I was here with Elder Sessions, we had the opportunity to keep cleaning, this time we got to break boards, so not only was it service it was super fun too! we were sad because we had not had a ton of finding time that day so as we are walking into a restaurant for dinner we saw these two girls sitting on a scooter, and we went and talked to them about the gospel! they both were willing to be baptized and set back up! The Lord can place people in the most random spots! we just have to be finding all the time! It was a really cool experience! This week between me and Elder Larsen we got to do four baptismal interviews! I love interviews! they are always such spiritual experiences as people share with you the reasons they want to get baptized! and even though they take some time on the train, we also get to see great miracles finding people on the train rides there and back! We also got to go to Guishan this week, and we saw huge miracles!!!  It really has been such a great week! we also got to see the power of chapel tours! they are very innocent ways to get people into the church and feeling the Spirit! we hope to do tons this upcoming week!

Hello Caden,

Ok I have missionary mom Sunday on the 29th, which means I am reporting on you. Want would you like me to report and pass on from you? What stories or scriptures, and experiences you would like me to share. Your favorite thing about Taiwan, people you have met, etc, any messages you would like me to pass on, any words of advice for anyone not sure if they want to serve or not ? I have to take about 7 mins.
Ok that's out of the way, how was your week? So sorry to hear about elder Larsen's sister and their families loss, we are praying for them. I wasn't implying anything with that quote, I just liked it, ok maybe I wasWinking face, when you come home and date pick a great YW. As to your question, what has increased my faith, I think there are a lot of things each and everyday that increase my faith, those everyday experiences as well as the big things that my sadden us or challenge us. Some days more then others! I think one for instance is yesterday was ward clean up for our home ward and building cleaning for our YSA ward. Dad and I divided and conquered. He helped here at home and I went to YSA. Just to see all the people especially in our home ward who truly love helping others, it's a faith builder, and nothing is ever expected in return. We had a great turn out at both places. That kind of stuff makes the world a much better place when we are selfless. What has strengthened your faith? I bet there are many things on a mission and on a daily basis that strengthen faith. All of the experiences you write home about are truly faith strengtheners. I hope we can all let our faith grown and strengthen.
On that guy who needs to earn money, how come he has no ID can he get some? Thats great you can help him clean and try to become self sufficient. Saturday sounds like it was a great but busy day! Do you get to do baptisms for the dead often? I like that faith is trust in the power of love. " Acting on even a twig of faith allows god to grow it." I hope you have a safe and wonderful week. Mitchell's are home and back into the swing of things. Girls are doing better and not as scared about the fire. Morrey's are doing well and waiting for sis to come, just a few weeks now and we will send another adorable pic of your niece. I know you will be careful to enjoy your pics but be cautious of elder Larsen's feelings at the same time. Love you so very much son, we get to talk in just a few weeks. It will be great to hear your voice and see that face. We want to hear some chineseThumbs up signWinking face. Hi Son
We are still waiting for snow πŸ˜• hopefully we get some this week supposed to snow Monday and Tuesday.. If we don't get something soon we will need to rethink our day after thanksgiving plans.. I think I told you, we took all the sleds over to power house to be fixed or sold, I think I may get a new used sled this year (a Red and black Rupp 900)   It might not be much of an upgrade but they say it's easier to ride and it looks dang cool! My Dad is looking seriously at a ranger with tracks and a new trailer it will fit in, by the end of the month we may end up with 3 trailers plus the one we rolled.. I'll let you know and send pics..
Monday for FHE we did family history stuff, I talked about "book of remembrance" stuff, mom talked about her grandpa Roden. Tuesday Mitchell's  made us dinner (Mac and cheese goodness, was AWESOME) and we chilled at home. Wednesday katie had a baby shower, Thursday the Mitchell's moved back home (happy sad) we will miss the company. Friday we went to the movies, a Tom hanks film "bridge of spies" Cold War drama - we both liked it, made us think about how fortunate we are living in today's world and economy. Also brings up the question about the economy their in Tawain, we assume it's strong and stable.. Yes?
Saturday was busy as usual, I started with helping the YMYW of the 5th ward with yard cleaning, mom helped our YSA ward clean the church that went till a little after 10, then we met up for hard core Christmas light work πŸ˜•, we decided to change it up this year, we put all the lights in the front locus trees. I felt like a monkey most the day, major tree climbing (missed you!) took us over 8 hours, still not finished, mom will send pics.. I'm super sore today from all the climbing. Today is third Sunday so we will be together at Jensen's, family is good time, I'm looking forward to the holidays! You asked about faith promoters, I think family is a big one! When you think about the plan of salvation and how important families are in both the path that gets us where we need to be, and the joy we have when we accomplish our eternal goal. Families prove to be both a cornerstone and keystone. My faith grows as I love, serve, and be served by my family! I guess the other cool faith promoting thing I think of is "service" obviously in families we get the opportunity to serve. This gospel gives us plenty of opportunity to serve, through service my faith grows in our purpose here on earth! Thank you for your example of service, you are killing it, and our family is blessed because of you.
Thanks much!
Love ya
Dad

oh man you have to do that?! anything that I sent home that you want to report on go ahead! as for things learned or for people to here, simply put, when you serve you come closer to God! and also we need to be aware of where are priorities are! Favorite thing about Taiwan, oh man, probably just the fact that no one is really straight out rude, they are commonly a very polite people!  sorry I know I didnt give you much, but there is tons in the past like 16 months! I will pick the woman that I need and she will be far better than you can even imagine! haha! but thank you for praying for him! he is doing good now! I really like those experiences thank you for sharing that I totally agree and like you said all of my faith building experiences are in these emails haha! but that brother is from japan and his visa expired! we never get to do baptisms, it used to be against the rules, but now we can:) good to hear the mitchells are home again! and that KT is doing good, is she already in the hospital?! It is nuts how fast that last seven months has gone huh! I like that quote! we all need to have some gratitude every once in awhile! thank you momma! love ya much! keep up the good work! also you can share how important knowledge is! oh man that is so important! anyway yup! love ya!

pops! an I hope it snows for ya! but holy cow! that would be nuts, and a rupp wow I was not expecting that! I am pumped to see what happens! I think your books of rememberance were super cool! hey we ate mac and cheese too! oh by the way thank you for the package! that was so delicious! the economy is pretty good here, but I dont really know that much, everyone complains about business, but that happens everywhere haha! I will have to find that out when I come home haha! so you are going ham on the trees that is so sick! I am sorry you are sore! if it makes you feel better I have been sore too haha! That is super sick thank you for those thoughts! I agree family and service! we learned that a lot this week! haha! so cool we learn the same things! keep up the good work! love you big guy! if I can do anything for you all let me know!

here was my week! This week although good was very interesting, we did a lot of cleaning, but this week it wasn't our house, it was an RC's house! He is cleaning it up so that he can have people rent it, he is hurting for money, so some ward members talked to him and are helping him get it all ready, and they asked us to help him, it has been a blast! It has also been a miracle to see his countenance change as his house changes! This week we also got to see hearts softened for the gospel as a nonmember father watched his daughter get baptized with his other nephew, and another nonmember father as he attended the funeral of his son who just passed away, it was very cool to hear everyone bear their testimonies of the Plan of Salvation and the importance of the gospel at both of these events! The Spirit was so strong! This week I also learned the importance of enduring a little longer in contacts, this week we contacted this kid, at the beginning he was super shy and wouldn't say much, almost seemed like he didn't want to talk then my companion asked, "well what do you think about all this Christian stuff?" the kid looks up at him and in English replies "well, I love it!" he then set up for this next week! so cool!!! last cool miracle of the week, we were going to a different place to contact, and there was this lady that we felt like we should talk to on the way, so we pulled over, she looked at us, and knew who we were, she said, "hey Elder Jensen, I have seen you before at church!" come to find out, she really had! she was a members step mom, she had a nice lesson with us on the street and set up for this next week! It is cool how just small little things can make it so that people remember missionaries and are willing to set up another day! overall it was a great week!

last but not least, I need you to look up some chinese lyrics for me, if you just copy and paste this into google it should come up, then can you send them to me? thank you love you! η΅¦ζˆ‘ηœ‹ηœ‹δ½ ηš„η…§η‰‡lyrics

Hello Bro
We are still waiting for snow πŸ˜• hopefully we get some this week.. Monday for FHE we played a game called smurf and did Carmel apples, Tuesday karlie and jake cooked us dinner and we chilled at home. Wednesday I got my haircut, Thursday my dad and I had the Fairview lakes association meeting, Friday mom and I went to the new 007 movie. Saturday we cleaned our YSA church building then we worked around the house and yard, then went to the Jazz game with the Clyde company tickets - includes dinner at the Lexus club and we sit right on the floor. Sunday has been busy, it's the Springville stores yearly inventory so I had to stop in for that.
We've had the Mitchell's living with us this past week, they will probably be here till mid next week when they get their apartment put back together. It's been different having people around, mom and I had settled into the empty nester deal. Having the babies around has been entertaining and fun Smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes
Heard a good one this week, 2 Nephi 9:39 "SMILE" spiritual minded is life eternal. - life is much easier when we put things in perspective, plus I like it when people smile Smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes you have always been positive and one who outwardly shows enthusiasm and joy. Thanks for being you!
Love ya
Dad

Hello bub,

Of course you can buy shoes. How are the church shoes holding up? Feet doing ok? Yes Springville is growing and the bond for the aquatic center passed. It will be complete by 2017, so glad it passed. Been a busy week with Mitchell's here. Girls have been good and it's been fun to wake up to them calling for grandma and grandpa. They are doing better about the whole fire. They didn't want to go home but now that things are getting fixed and cleaned they are doing better. Linc is growing like a weed, chubby boy, 12 lbs already. Jensen is feeling much better, had to be on a steroid for a few days, makes him not himself. But now he is off it and doing good. Hopefully everyone else can stay healthy. Fun time at the jazz game. Sat across from they jazz pres. and two rows from the owners, the millers. The man we took brought his son who is ten. Nice young boy and he had fun. That's the way to see a game! So cool to hear that the lessons and the studying is going very well and you are finding ways to improve the habits. Sorry for the runs, that stinks, literally. Many problems with the tummy?  So how many different places have you lived in? Have you seen much of becca, or do you not have a lot of conferences that you both go to. I like what you said about faith. My faith is getting stronger but some days I have to remind myself how important faith is. Without faith life would be even harder then it it is with faith, can't imagine. To many people are willing to give up and walk away from their faith, makes for hard times that's for sure. Went to Parker's welcome home with kar and the kids, he did a good job. Good to see the Francis family. I don't think we told you, Jordan is married and hay is dating a kid, pretty seriously. He is a nice kid and treats her great. All of the friends really like him and so do their spouses. Katie has her date set for her c section, Tuesday dec 2nd, so less than a month. Mckaye Tobler, Emily kts friend and I think her friend Courtney ricks are all due around the same time. Crazy how many babies there are due this fall and winter. Chelsea walker Lifferth is also due then. Hope you're holding up well, sure proud of ya and miss ya a ton, but thankful and blessed to have you doing the lords work and helping bless others! Hope the companionship is doing well and you keep smilin, like you said these next 8 months, pound it out man!!! If you need anything please let us help. We put money in your account, even after purchasing shoes you have over $150 US. Hope you found some nice shoes.

hopefully you get some snow, haha me and elder larsen have been telling snowmobiling stories how was the movie and the meeting? sounds like the jazz game was a blast, you are getting all high up haha! how is inventory, is it annoying? I hope all is going well with the mitchells I bet having them at home is fun! tell them Hi! I love that quote, that was our seminary theme my senior year! super cool! we also got a training on smiling about a week ago it is so important! super sick! love you big guy!
mama! the shoes are sick and were pretty inexpensive! my feet are doing great and so are my church shoes! that will be super sick! I will get to see it get built! I bet it is super cute to hear them call for ya! dang he is big!!! good to hear jens is doing better! is he still super happy? That jazz game sounds super sick! I bet that was fun! the stomach is fun, it is just hard to get regular because we eat tons of different foods at tons of different times haha! I have lived in banqiao, zhonghe, Daan, and Taoyuan, I see becca at least once a month! faith is the bomb! what do you think has increased your faith lately? the world is sad sometimes, but that is why we are here right? to make it better! good to hear that hay is dating a kid! she is a champ! That is super sick! I wont be the lone december baby anymore! also can you pray for elder Larsen's sister kylie, she just miscarried twins, thank you:) and hug my nieces and nephews a little tighter for me! that is tons of babies!!! thank you for all you do! you all are the best! I like that, and that was a cheeky marriage reference haha!

here was my week! We saw tons of miracles this week, the first one being in the life of a recent convert! his life has been really rough and he doesn't have any ID here in Taiwan so he cannot get work, but the bishop has been working with him and so have some other members and they have made ways that he can make money, one of them being renting out parts of his house to singles in the ward who need places to live! so this upcoming week we get to help him clean out his house and get it all ready!!! such a great miracle for this brother in our ward! We also had a miracle of finding a former investigator in a restaurant and having him set up, as we met with him a lot of his concerns came out! We also got to have a miracle exchange, me and Elder Bezzant had selected some places to go, but as we passed this street we felt very strongly to go down it and knock, then go to the other places later that night, so we turned down that street and we found three people that set up, then as we went to the other place at night, we found this girl whose grandmother had just passed away, we shared the Plan of Salvation, she went home told her parents, and they all came to church on Sunday, such a miracle! the Lord is in His work!!! Then Saturday was such an incredible day, we got to start out the morning with Baptisms for the Dead with RC's (which was also cool to see Elder Larsen do baptisms for the dead for the first time) followed by an incredible temple tour, incredible studies and lessons with RC's all night! such a great day! the Spirit was very powerful!  me and Elder Larsen have also been studying Christ-like Attributes, it is cool to reflect on how we have progressed and how we can continue to do so! Faith is the best, we studied that today, cool little thing that we learned is that Faith is trust in the power of love, so as we have Faith in Christ we trust in the power of his loving Atonement, pretty cool! great week! well love you all! and have a great week! talk to you soon! if I can help at all let me know! praying for ya all! and dont worry I will pound it out, I couldnt not it would drive me nuts! love ya!
